United States - Laguna Seca
The Laguna Seca circuit is 250 m above sea level and about 12 km from Monterey.
It has a length of 3.610 meters and it was built in 1957.
The circuit has undergone few changes over the years, but recently several sections have been adapted to new safety requirements.
The track has not been changed but the escape roads have been expanded to conform with the standards required by MotoGP.
The configuration of the track is unique and quite different from any other in MotoGP, a very technical track that is exciting to ride on.
The layout features many elevation changes. But the real trademark of Laguna Seca is the swooping downhill left-right corner named ‘The Corkscrew.’
This chicane is a feature not seen on any other circuit around the world.
